Shaheed Ullah

Shaheed Ullah spends his working life where medicine actually happens — the operating theatre. He works at Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar, a major tertiary-care teaching hospital, alongside the surgeons, anaesthetists, and nurses who run it through the ordinary shifts and the unforgettable ones. He also teaches, serving as a surgical lecturer across constituent and affiliated institutes of Khyber Medical University, where he trains people who will one day stand at the table themselves.

His book When Scrubs Stumble: The Diary of a Healthcare Professional came straight out of that room. It collects true stories from the theatre and the recovery ward — the pressure, the mistakes, the small human moments, the cases that stay with you long after the shift ends — told plainly enough that a reader with no medical background can follow every one.

Before he wrote about medicine, Shaheed built a readership as a technology author, with several guides on AI image tools and prompt writing. These days his attention is on the work he knows best: honest stories from inside the hospital.
