Bernadette Richards is not a princess but a hardworking dialysis nurse. She grew up in England and explored the world before settling down in Evergreen, Colorado. Her castle is a home filled with animals and children.

When Bernadette isn’t writing, she plays her piano with reckless disregard of rhythm and volume. As a child she became hooked on reading when her dad gave her a set of outdated encyclopedias.
