Malcolm F. Purinton is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. where he teaches World and Food History as well as the histories of Technology, Capitalism and Business, and Imperialism and Colonialism. He is the author of 'Globalization in a Glass: The Rise of Pilsner Beer through Technology, Taste and Empire' published by Bloomsbury Academic Publishing as part of its Food in Modern History: Traditions and Innovations series.
