Stefano Cardoselli

Stefano Cardoselli is an Italian comics artist and illustrator defined by his raw, kinetic, and visceral style. His work blends cyberpunk, dystopian fiction, and auteur horror, heavily influenced by visionaries such as Moebius, Ridley Scott, Clive Barker, and Stephen King.

He was the first Italian artist to be published in Britain’s cult comic magazine 2000 AD within the legendary Tales of Telguuth series (featuring an introduction by Alan Moore). In 2021, he won the Bram Stoker Award — the international pinnacle for horror fiction — followed by the Best Artist award at the Treviso Comic Book Festival in 2025.

Known internationally for his flagship titles with Mad Cave Studios — led by the hit Love Me saga and collected in The Cardoselli & Perillo Collection — he works extensively with major global publishers including Heavy Metal Magazine, Simon & Schuster, Oni Press, Scout Comics, and Keenspot, as well as Italy’s iconic Sergio Bonelli Editore (contributing to flagship titles like Dylan Dog).

His artwork and story arcs have been highlighted by international outlets such as Rolling Stone, Time Magazine, and Sky Arte.
