Dan Fisher is a consulting psychologist and a co-founder and executive board member of the Institute for Contemporary Leadership. He is also a managing partner at the consulting firm, Contemporary Leadership Advisors. He works as a trusted leadership advisor to CEOs and their teams. Prior to working exclusively with senior corporate leaders, Dan was a clinically trained trauma and forensic psychologist. He gained invaluable wisdom from working as an attending psychologist on New York Hospital’s world-renowned Burn Unit and in the New York City Court System.
He holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of California Santa Barbara, and a BS in Psychology from the University of California at San Diego. He completed his post-doctoral studies at Cornell Medical College, where he later joined the faculty. He is a proud graduate of the Bronx High School of Science and devoted board member to the amazing non-profit Row New York. When he’s not working, he spends time with his family in New Jersey, works on refining his composting skills, and enjoys acting out his wife’s screenplays.
