J. C. Walton

My name is John Walton. I grew up in South England and then moved to Scotland, where I've both taught and researched for many years at the Universities of Dundee and St. Andrews. I'm currently an emeritus professor of chemistry at St. Andrews. My curiosity about science has been growing throughout my life, as has my enthusiasm for everything relating to ancient literature, archaeology and faith. I've delivered talks on these topics both in the UK and abroad, and I've written magazine features as well as books exploring them. I live with my bonny wife in picturesque St. Andrews beside the grey-green sea.
