Susan Bradley Smith is an Australian writer and historian. She grew up in Bundjalung country in rural New South Wales, during its Aquarius counter-culture revolution. After attending university in Sydney, and beginning her writing life as a journalist, Susan has since lived in London, Berlin, and Rome. Now based in Naarm | Melbourne, she has a doctorate in English Literature, and works as a teacher and professor. An award-winning writer, Susan is a fan of road trips and surfing.
