Recently retired after a career as a criminal defense attorney, mainly serving as a public defender. Having worked for several powerful and dynamic women over the years, I am motivated to write stories about strong female characters who are forced to take action when facing a volatile situation. This also gives me the opportunity to address important social issues as the background to the stories.
