The Rev, Samantha Vincent-Alexander is the rector at Christ Episcopal Church in Philadelphia, which is well known for being the church where the Episcopal Church was established. Samantha was a lifelong Catholic who went to a Lutheran college and then to Princeton Seminary where she told peers that she was looking for a loophole so she could be a priest in the Catholic Church. She never found a loophole, but did find a home in the Episcopal Church where she was ordained. She is married to another Episcopal priest, and they are proud parents of a passionate and rambunctious boy. She is a certified yoga instructor and loves to teach it in the church community. She has been published in Fidelia Magazine, Grow Christians and the Daily Press. She is the co-author of Grace in the Rearview Mirror and Irreverent Prayers; Talking to God When You're Seriously Sick.
