Heidi Rocha

Heidi Rocha is an author, dental hygienist, and community outreach specialist with more than 38 years of experience working with children and families. She is passionate about creating engaging stories that help young children learn, grow, build confidence, and develop positive lifelong habits.

Her books combine relatable childhood experiences with important lessons about kindness, friendship, healthy habits, and making good choices. Her titles include Benny the Bully Goat, The Goat That Lost His Smile, and the Sparkly Smiles Series, which introduces young readers to brushing, dental visits, and healthy smiles in a fun and reassuring way.

Beyond writing, Heidi works with schools, preschools, libraries, families, and community organizations to promote early literacy through StoryTime programs, author visits, and educational outreach.

When she’s not writing or sharing stories with young readers, Heidi enjoys country life and spending time with the animals on her small farm—including the goats who have provided plenty of inspiration for her stories.
