Susan Vanriel-Smith

Susan Vanriel-Smith is the CEO of Gifted One Princes LLC and author of Different but Special.

Susan Vanriel-Smith was born and raised in Jamaica. She migrated to the state of Connecticut at the age of 11. Susan is married and has 3 sons and a stepdaughter. She is motivated and inspired mostly by two of her three sons that were diagnosed as autistic when they were young. One of Susan's sons is non-verbal and she became his voice, a voice of change that is dedicated to bringing awareness to autism and promoting acceptance and inclusion. Susan holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Biology. Whenever Susan is not busy doing her day-to-day job, she is running her online store that is dedicated to bringing awareness to autism. Susan is also an excellent parent advocate. She likes to volunteer and collect donations for worthy causes such as autism walks or clothes for the less fortunate. Susan values family and spiritual faith, each day can be challenging, but as a family, they work together to embrace the obstacles. Susan hopes that this book can be of help to other families that face similar circumstances.
