Tim Pilsbury

Tim Pilsbury is an automotive designer and educator with more than 30 years of international experience. A graduate of Coventry University (UK) and ArtCenter College of Design (California), he has worked with leading OEMs including Volkswagen, Nissan Design America, Peugeot, and several start-ups.

Tim served as Vice President and Head of Design at Grove Hydrogen Automotive and at Qoros Auto in China, where he led concept projects such as the 2018 MILE 1 and 2019 MILE II. His earlier work includes leading concept programs at Nissan Design America and contributing to the relaunch of the SEAT brand in Barcelona.

Alongside his industry career, Tim has taught at ArtCenter Europe, ELISAVA Barcelona, and the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
