Kieran Rose

Kieran Rose is an author, researcher, and speaker at www.theautisticadvocate.com, with a background in SEND education and public sector service delivery.

He delivers his own specialist Autism trainings deconstructing the autism narrative; provides private consultancy to organisations and local governments internationally; and serves as a faculty member for the US-based OT charity: the Star Institute.

Kieran has published a number of academic papers on Autistic Masking and Interpersonal Victimisation and is producing more research in these areas and more, including Monotropism and identity. He has guest-lectured at Universities across the UK, is peer reviewer for several academic journals, and holds the title Honourary Research Associate with the University of Sunderland, and is a research associate of GRRAND UCL.

Kieran is also lead trainer and content creator for the National Autism Trainer Programme in the UK, with the Anna Freud Centre and AT-Autism.

Kieran was diagnosed as Autistic 2003. He is married to Neurodivergent Marketing Consultant and small business advisor, Michelle Rose and together with their three Autistic children and two fluffball Maine Coon cats, they live on a windy hilltop in the North East of England.
