One of Bryan Donaldson's passions is a love for travel and culture. He has lived in six countries and speaks several languages to some degree. He enjoys the diversity of cultures in the world and feels at home with people of any ethnicity.
Another passion is religion and the big questions of the world. From a young age, he has immersed himself in history and philosophy, trying to wrap his mind around the most powerful social forces of human society.
As a toddler, his mother converted to the Baha'i Faith - a religion promoting the unity of mankind. As a teenager Bryan accepted the faith and studied it extensively, eventually engaging in writing on some of its tenets. In the process of investigating the Baha'i perspective on evolution and human origin, he found that the extant discourse seemed inadequate to address such a huge topic, which led him down a path that culminated in publishing 'On the Originality of Species' in 2023.
