John Michael Ashley

John M. Ashley is a UFOlogist, musician, and author of multiple books on the topic of UFOs. He has over thirty years of experience in the field and is the administrator of @UFOnetwork_ on Twitter. During his time there he has held fast to his beliefs and amassed over a hundred thousand dedicated followers. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1974, John grew up curious about the natural world around him. Raised outdoors with a hard working father and a mother who allowed him to follow his passions and grow his hair. He grew up as a true Gen X child. From jumping bicycles over friends to shooting BB guns at the neighbors he survived to become a jack of all trades. In school he studied music and was the leader of the band. He later attended Arkansas Tech University where he studied geology and electrical engineering. After college John went on to pursue a career in music and moved to Carrboro, NC. After a successful ten year run as a professional musician he later decided to become an electrical contractor and started Ashley Substation, Inc.

John's interest in UFOs began at the age of four when he briefly lived in Chicken Creek, Oklahoma. While there he and his family encountered strange objects in the sky, animal mutilations, and visits from groups of "strange animals" in the night. After moving back to Arkansas his curiosity led him to study UFOs. He has spent most of his life trying to unravel the mysteries discovered on that Oklahoma ranch. The truth is out there and he is dedicated to bringing it into the light.
