Lisa Peachey

Lisa Peachey lives in New Mexico with her husband Dene, three dogs (Sprout, Lewis, and Clark), and Sprout’s very entitled goldfish. When she’s not trying to convince the local meat-centric restaurants to make her something vegan “off menu, but delicious,” or gently (sort of) persuading the world to be a little kinder to people with allergies and sensitivities, she’s writing books about things that matter—like grief, healing, joy, and the occasional puzzle book.

Her most recent memoir, Everything is NOT Peachey, is a fiercely honest, sometimes surprisingly funny exploration of life with chronic illness. She also co-authored Miley Speaks, a soulful true story about love, loss, and what happens when your dog refuses to stop talking—and bossing everyone around—just because she died.

Lisa continues to share wisdom from the other side (along with her gifted co-authors, Carol Elizabeth Long and Miley) and is currently developing a Phase II journal in the ever-expanding Miley Universe.

She’s also the creator of Bobarino’s Word Search Puzzle Book—a tribute to her legendary dad, Bobarino. It’s the story of his life told in 100 word search puzzles with an unapologetic amount of sass. Most recently, she transformed it into a full-scale bingo game, revealed as a surprise during Bobarino’s beloved Tuesday night musical bingo —complete with a full line of corresponding swag.
