Roger Hallas

Roger Hallas is Associate Professor of English at Syracuse University, where he teaches Film, Visual Culture, Documentary Studies, and Queer studies. He is the author of Reframing Bodies: AIDS, Bearing Witness, and the Queer Moving Image (Duke University Press, 2009), the co-editor of The Image and the Witness: Trauma, Memory, and Visual Culture (Wallflower/Columbia University Press, 2007), and the editor of Documenting the Visual Arts (Routledge, 2020). He is director of the Syracuse University Human Rights Film Festival.
