Cate Michels

Cate Michels is the author of four books. Her latest, THERE COMES A TIME, will be released in August of 2026. Her Generations of Hope Trilogy (Book 1— ALL THAT WE HAVE, Book 2—SORROW'S TRACE, and Book 3—IN THE FULLNESS OF TIME) is grounded in the Midwest but takes readers across the globe as it follows the Harvey family for nearly three decades, from the Great War to the onset of World War II. Her current projects include a two-book series about Irish immigrants who came to Minnesota in the 1880s through the combined efforts of an Irish priest in Galway and Minnesota Bishop John Ireland. Cate lives with her husband in the upper Midwest and takes every opportunity to travel—especially to visit museums and historic sites.
