Steve Kemme

Steve Kemme is the author of “The Outsider: The Life and Work of Lafcadio Hearn” and wrote the introduction to “Lafcadio Hearn’s Japan.” He is president of the Lafcadio Hearn Society/USA, worked for 30 years as a news and features reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer, has written numerous magazine stories. He has worked as an adjunct journalism professor at the University of Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky University and Miami University of Ohio and has earned a B.A. in English from Thomas More College and an M.A. in Journalism at Ohio State University.
