Yvette J. Smith

Yvette J. Smith is a purpose-driven and insightful author dedicated to sharing God’s inspiration and motivation through her writing and speaking. With a deep passion for Kingdom-focused life application and spiritual growth, she partners with the Holy Spirit to equip and train others in their divine identity and calling. Through her ministry, she imparts wisdom in teaching, healing, deliverance, and miracles, guiding individuals toward their Kingdom purpose. As a speaker, author, prophetic intercessor, teacher, and coach, Yvette mentors those maturing in their spiritual gifts and prophetic journey. She is aligned with Kingdom Harvest Alliance and Glory of Zion International Ministries and serves as a co-leader in The Bride Prepares Ministries, an apostolic and prophetic equipping center where individuals are sent by God to develop into all He has called them to be. Currently serving as a Prophetic Minister, Teacher, and Intercessor with The Bride Prepares Ministries, Yvette continues to foster spiritual growth and development. She also co-founded Reflections, a women’s home group that operated from 1999 to 2001, providing a sacred space for women to deepen their faith, discover their calling, and grow in relational intimacy with God. In both settings, she trained and equipped attendees, conducted prayer and deliverance sessions, and encouraged the activation of Holy Spirit-led giftings while empowering women to step boldly into their divine identity. Yvette has joyfully devoted her time to teaching, speaking, and providing Kingdom mentorship through various ministerial experiences. In 2023, the Holy Spirit led her to serve as a Prophetic Teacher, guiding a select group of women through Kingdom of God Disciples, a 10-week virtual training designed to align them with God’s prophetic call. In 2022, she co-taught an 8-week prophetic training course, equipping women called to the prophetic ministry with hands-on assignments that encouraged the activation of their God-given gifts. For more than 15 years, Yvette has spoken at various local ministries, including Aglow International—Greensboro Lighthouse (NC), The Bride Prepares Ministries Prophetic Gathering (PA) and The Extended Scepter Conference (PA), Back to Basics Ministry, F.I.G.H.T: Fight for Families Fellowship (DE), Faith in an Ever-Changing World Encouragement & Hope (Podcast), and People's Baptist Church Full Gospel Ministries (DE). She regularly shares teachings on her YouTube channel, YvetteRhymesWithGod, and leads mentorship sessions through Time in God’s Kingdom Mentorship, an online equipping center for the Body of Christ. Beyond her ministry, Yvette is a registered nurse, owned and operated a doula business, and is a co-author of the professional journal article Breastfeeding and Practice Tips for Case Managers, published in Case Management Matters (May-June 2018).

Yvette finds joy in spending time alone with the Lord, walking in nature, visiting the beach, traveling, researching, admiring the beauty of horses and dogs, and cherishing priceless moments with family and friends.
