Mack Robert

Mack Robert has always been drawn to the spaces between things — between science and superstition, between what the age believed and what it feared, between the last gasp of the rational world and whatever waits on the other side of the dark.

He came to Victorian Gothic horror the way most people come to it: through a door that looked perfectly ordinary and turned out not to be.

The Geometry of Hunger is his debut novel. He is already at work on the second case of Thorne and Vance.

He does not own a black stone. As far as he is aware.
