John Bucholtz

John Bucholtz has been telling stories his whole life, whether via role-playing games for his friends or while working on movies that entertain millions. He has expressed his creativity through drawing, photography, graphic design, and more but, after a nudge from his wife, he recently discovered a passion for writing stories for kids.

Born and raised in Michigan, John ended up in the field of animation where he worked on several video games as well as the movies Happy Feet, Happy Feet 2, Avatar, and War for the Planet of the Apes. He has worked in California, Australia, New Zealand, and now Sweden where he’s writing as he works on a video game.
