Hi! It’s Debi and Pretzel!

I have worked in Primary Schools in South West London for the last 15 years as a Teaching Assistant. Tommy and the Golden Apple is my first published book and I am delighted to be a winner of The Golden Wizard Book Prize Awards, 2024. The book is about a boy called Tommy who unfortunately doesn’t make the right choices and fails to listen to the wisdom of the Golden Apple. The message of the book is simple: be grateful for the small things and appreciate what you have …..and remember that all the magic you need is within you!

Debi has been a Merton resident for the past forty five years and works as a part time Teaching Assistant in a Primary school in Wimbledon, homeschooling her teenage son the rest of the time. She draws inspiration from the children she works with and her life experiences have taught her to be grateful for the simple things. Giving is Living! Xx🙏
