Daniel Scher

Daniel Scher is a mathematics educator, researcher, software developer, and writer. He received his PhD in Mathematics Education from New York University, where he taught a pre-service geometry course. He was a principal investigator of two NSF-funded grants: the Dynamic Number project and the Forging Connections project. He has also worked as a researcher at Education Development Center (EDC) and as a program director at Best Practices in Education. Daniel is an expert in the use of dynamic geometry software and has co-authored five books and numerous journal articles.
