Richard Andrews

From piranha fishing on the Amazon and tracking down war criminals in Beijing, to interviewing Bollywood stars and diving Fiji's coral reefs, Richard Andrews has chalked up more than 40 years as a journalist, foreign correspondent, diplomat and freelancer. An award-winning editor he writes for travel magazines, newspapers and not-for-profits on three continents. Richard also teaches writing at McGill University after working in China and Malaysia, with assignments in India, Brazil and Russia. He lives on a former vineyard in Quebec's Eastern Townships, where he aspires to play blues harp, like the main character in his novel, Key to the Highway. Many of the book's events are based on Richard's experiences, blended with his love of mythology.
