Heather Wohl is the award-winning author of From Ashes: Book One of the Illuminator Saga. She writes fantasy fiction, children's books, cozy mysteries, and non-fiction under her real name, Heather Wohl. She also writes spicy romance under the pen name Aurora Alba and horror under the pen name H. M. Wohl. She is also a coffee-loving, video gaming, Pitt Bull mom as well as a full-time laboratory coordinator in Wyoming.

Heather is a supporter of those, like herself, suffering from chronic pain and fibromyalgia. She also advocates for mental health and bipolar awareness and Pit Bulls.
