About the Author

Michael Scott is a British author from Brixton, South London, whose stories blend real-life experiences with imagination, humour and adventure.

Growing up around his father’s sound system, Sir Scott Hi-Fi, Michael was heavily influenced by South London’s music and sound-system culture. He later became a reggae rapper known as Samson Ranger, releasing a 8 track album, Box Boy Vol. 1 in 2018.

Today, Michael brings that same creative energy to storytelling. As the creator of the Hero Lion children’s book series, he is passionate about developing colourful characters and memorable adventures for young readers.

Michael independently publishes and promotes his work through Box Boy Got Magic Ltd.
