Stephen Hines has some thirty year's experience in the writing and publishing business. His first effort resulted in the bestselling "Little House in the Ozarks," which introduced readers to the historical Laura Ingalls Wilder. Eight subsequent books on Laura and her world followed. As a literary prospector, Hines also brought out books by Louisa May Alcott and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Additionally, his "Titanic: One Newspaper, Seven Days, and the Truth That Shocked the World" explored the mystery of the Titanic's sinking. "The Strange Case of Velvet the Dog" is his first fiction foray and is inspired by a real-life event. He and his wife make their home in Nolensville, TN.
