Jon Shannon

Jon Shannon is a Maine author and storyteller, and a Hall of Fame broadcaster with decades of experience connecting with audiences on the radio. His fiction blends the human heart with the unseen world, exploring the magic and mystery hidden in ordinary lives.

He is the author of The Longest Summer and creator of The Wilder Chronicles, an ongoing series rooted in Maine’s folklore and modern imagination.

Jon and his wife, Lori, make their home in southern Maine, where they raised their sons, Zach and Spencer, who still inspire his stories.

Jon is a member of the Maine Broadcasting Hall of Fame, and was named one of the Top 30 Country Program Directors in America by Radio Ink Magazine.
