I’m just another spud boy from Akron, Ohio... The spirit of creativity that thrived in the 1970’s in the form of New Wave and Punk in Akron set my mind on fire with the urge to contribute. Fifty years later I hope I did this by writing The Memory Chasers.

The story obsessed me for years but it wasn’t until Covid-19 struck that I started writing it. My wife and I moved from Denver to Poncha Springs, Colorado in precise timing with the onset of this virus. Chaffee County instantly became our home and the setting for the book. It is a stunningly beautiful place that inspires the mind with plenty of Walter Mitty visions. I am forever grateful to all the folks that read beta copies and provided me with feedback and support through the process.
