PAST INSTRUCTION: ACADEMIC

FULLTIME: four years fulltime Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at The Ohio State University (as part of Air Force service), and one year at Capital University.

PART TIME: University of Maryland in Thailand and various schools in the U.S.: Louisiana Tech, Ohio University. Ohio State University and others.

ENVIRONMENTS: Online, in traditional classrooms, business sites, military installations, and prisons.

PAST INSTRUCTION: TRAINING

• Air Force: conducted military training and managed career training of U.S. and Thai military personnel in South East Asia.

• AT&T: provided sales training for AT&T management.

• Columbus State: time management seminars for organizations and courses in how to train fire fighters and police.

• Other: developed and conducted private training programs for funeral directors (pre-need sales skills), bankers (effective writing, supervision), bar owners (liability avoidance), agribusiness (performance appraisal), and a chemical company – supervision.

COURSES (CURRENT AND PAST) AND RELATED EXPERIENCE

Economics/Finance: Employment prior to joining the Air Force was with financial institutions including the Federal Reserve and a brokerage firm. More recently, conducted supervisory training for a commercial bank and “train the trainer” writing skills workshops for bank managers.

International Business: Export manager for AT&T training. Have traveled extensively in Europe and Asia. While in the Air Force, lived in Japan and Thailand. Attended related numerous corporate and educational conferences and have written related material for International Business textbooks. Authored a 2009 supplement dealing with the global financial crisis.

Marketing: Early employment: direct sales and newspaper advertising. In the 1980’s taught sales skills to AT&T managers. Managed intellectual property within AT&T marketing. Provided Pre-need training for funeral directors.

Management: As a consultant, involved in corporate reorganization and restructuring. Served as part of management within the Air Force (NCO and later as a commissioned officer) and part of management for AT&T.

EDUCATION

BS Ohio State (after nearly seven years of undergraduate courses from various schools) and an MBA Louisiana Tech. While in the USAF, pursued a doctoral program which was not completed due to reassignment .
