Skeet Will

Born in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia during World War II, I grew up in Arlington across the Potomac River from Washington D.C. where my parents worked for the government. I went back to my hometown to finish high school and one day going to my next class I saw a long legged young lady in a short skirt with dark hair down to the middle of her back. Her name was Mary and I married her after I graduated. Our twin daughters were born in 1966. She died of cancer in 2010, three months before our 46th anniversary and I lost one of the twins, Diane, to PKD in 2015. One morning in March 2019, at age 76, I woke up and began writing about a dream I’d had that night. I’ve never stopped. My first novel, Me and Jinx, was published in 2020, a second, The BookSeller, in 2021, a third, Annaliese Fry, M.D., in 2023. I’m currently at work on my fourth with plans for a fifth. I currently live in Gresham, OR with Bev, my longtime partner, and three cats, one of whom is small, black and named Jinx. My daughter Samantha and Granddaughter Lily are close by. I’ll be 80 years old in July 2023.
