David E Finnell

David E. Finnell was born and grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. After earning a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from General Motors Institute (now Kettering University), he began employment as a programmer analyst. He completed a degree in computer technology from Purdue University before achieving a master of science degree in management and business administration from the Sloan School at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After having worked for large, well-known corporations for almost 20 years, David transitioned to self-employment, never looking back. It is from this vantage point that he writes about his journey and spends his time counseling individuals in personal financial management, focusing on the future. David has a son who has majored in comparative languages and linguistics and a daughter majoring in English literature. But not all is about school and work. David enjoys close relationships and the things that really matter in life.
