Malik Yusef

When it comes to 8X Grammy Award winner, multi-Emmy Award winner, Tony and Peabody Award winner Malik Yusef, it should be noted that the Man who accomplished so much, came from the humblest of beginnings.

Born with several learning disorders/disabilities, and with fractured family ties, Malik Yusef found success and influence in the streets of Chicago. Those "disabilities" and difficulties made Malik a self-educating mastermind.

Becoming a master of his deficiencies, he improved his life choices and over 16 major music awards later, including over 33 Grammy Nominations, Malik has touched the lives of Millions through his critically acclaimed poetry, TED Talks, music and through his direct impacts on artists and people around the world.

Along with being a Cannabis Industry business owner and advocate, Malik serves as a mentor and guide to some of music's biggest talents, including Kanye West, who is among the most famous people (and most famous egos) on the planet. He also mentors young talents like Vic Mensa of Roc Nation, Chance the Rapper, Fetty Wap and his most recent Grammy Awards from 2022 are with Jay-Z and Kanye West on "Jail" and with The Weekend, Lil Baby and Kanye West for "Hurricane".

Even before music, the future of Cannabis as an industry is something that Malik saw early and has poured countless resources into the national advocacy for Cannabis legalization, primarily for its medical benefits, but also for its environmental impacts. His study as a Historian of the plant has guided his vision of his new book and his action in the industry.
