Ruchita Acharya

Ruchita Acharya is a beauty blogger, small business owner, and the creative mind behind Glow & Green. Currently she runs a beauty brand called Green-Beauty Co. Ruchita's mission is to empower women with the tools to transition to a sustainable lifestyle, explicitly focusing on beauty and personal care. Through her platform, Ruchita shares recipes to teach people how to make their products at home: from soaps and shampoo bars to customizable facial potions. Ruchita also opened an online store from which she sells her soaps, facial oils, bath scrubs, and other sustainable skincare products made from food by-products. She also hosts beauty workshops in the SF bay Area where she demos how to make all-natural beauty products. Attendees get to take home samples of what they made in class. In addition to beauty blogging and running her small business, Ruchita moonlights as a freelance writer and consultant on sustainable beauty.
