After having had my eyes opened to the fact that "History is written by the victors," I began, in earnest, to set out on a troubling, unsettling journey of discovering the truth (not from Fake News sources) about the events that either time forgot or that may have been seen from different aspects, or angles. Coming from a military background, where I was required to write investitive reports, my writing skills were honed, perhaps not to perfection, but to a level that could be read, and comprehended, by the masses. It was also while in the military that I was afforded untold "chances of a lifetime" to visit places, many in far-off lands, which I would later find should be woven into the fabric of my non-fiction, historical biographies. It was in these locations that I slowly, painfully, began to comprehend the fuller scope of "History." Professors of History, in our Halls of Higher Education, are restricted only so much time in which to impart their wisdom. It, then, becomes incumbent upon the TRUE 'Student of History' to advance his / her understanding of any one given topic (and, indeed, there are many!). This was my goal. Endeavor to, perhaps, not so much as to impart knowledge, but rather to "set the record straight." I challenge you to, after reading these tomes, research the matters for yourself. The Truth will, indeed, set you free,
