Musician, actor and retired sales & marketing rep, CA Humer (Cheryl), grew up in Wisconsin. Always adventurous and curious, she expressed herself through music, dance and performing, but always felt a tug toward writing. Life blessed CA with a wealth of experiences from travel to work, happiness to heartbreak. Learning is living and after spending years doing everything from food service to professional acting, Cheryl retired. Her adventures continue and she has rediscovered her new passion - Writing.

After thirty years of having a book percolate in her imagination, it found its release. Art from Darkness became a reality, bringing Sam & Kate Slater to life. Artistic Deception followed and a third, Dying for Art will release in 2026. And now, we are introduced to a new hero in Rob Adams, Detective. Her stories are endless, and several others are waiting to break free. Before, music and acting were all-consuming passions. Now, Cheryl can’t stop imagining or writing. She and her husband live in Arlington, TX with their cat Abbie.
