EC GARRETT

EC Garrett is a 31 year old Alaskan transplant now living in Kansas City, MO. A full-time self-published author, ECG writes fantasy and romance speculative fiction. She has her BA in English Literature with a focus in Early Modern and Medieval Literature and is currently attending school to work on her MA in English with a publishing emphasis.

Her debut novel, The Forgotten and The Feared, won a Writer's Digest 2024 Self-Published Book Award with an Honorable Mention in the Mainstream/Literary Fiction category, and was an instant bestseller.

In her spare time, she’s either reading, watching Lord of The Rings for the 100th time (the extended editions, naturally), or playing with her very cute but extremely ornery senior dachshund mix, Mr Frankie.

She still dreams of becoming a dragon rider.
