Lliana Bird is a writer, film maker, radio DJ and co-founder of Choose Love.
Lliana is the author of The Mice Who Sing For Sex (and Other Weird Tales From The World of Science). Her debut kids book Baboo The Unusual Bee is set for publication in September 2023.
Lliana started out as a radio DJ, and today holds the record as the longest standing female DJ on Xfm/ Radio X (after 16 years on air). Lliana also contributed regularly to The Huffington Post, with her articles often hitting the front pages and going viral.
Lliana has created and presented over 100 podcast episodes of Geek Chic's Weird Science, and 3 series of female lead podcast 'Get It Off Your Br**sts'.
Lliana has more recently written and co-directed two short films, including the multi award-winning 'Snapshots' which starred Paul Kaye and Mark Benton.
As the co-founder of Choose Love, Lliana has been awarded various accolades, including being named as Foreign Policy's Top 100 Thinkers, and being selected as one of NESTA's New Radicals. She also hosted the London Peace Talks.
Today Lliana works as a writer of children's books and as a film maker. Lliana lives in London with her partner Noel and their two children.
