As a little girl, Kathy was blessed to spend a lot of her free time painting, drawing and writing. From a young age many around her consistently encouraged her to become a writer…she didn’t listen. Children’s books have always captivated her attention, especially those with bold, bright pictures and these are the types of work she hopes to continue to create for the world around her. Her Mother, Joy, was an avid reader and amazing artist who taught her to appreciate- well- everything. Her father, John, was the one with the drawing and sketching skills. You’ll find symbols, initials, and names of both throughout every book she creates. She currently resides on the East Coast with her daughter and two very unruly (but awfully cute) dogs. She loves the beach, loves her friends and family, and loves watching her daughter dance across the stage in her many performances and competitions. The rest of the time she’s a Realtor and an abstract Artist.
