Elisabeth Hardy is a historical nonfiction author who calls beautiful Vancouver Island home. Born to immigrant parents, Elisabeth grew up surrounded by a rich cultural heritage that has heavily influenced her writing.

An unapologetic feminist, Elisabeth is passionate about creating complex, three-dimensional female characters in her work and is always on the lookout for strong, inspiring women whose names have been lost inside the folds of history. In her writing, she seeks to give voice to these forgotten figures, using her skills as a storyteller to bring their tales to life.
