Chin Ce

Poet, novelist, essayist, editor, and researcher in that order, Chin Ce shares unique visions and skills tended to their fullest potential through writing. Be it fiction, non-fiction, or socio- cultural performance, this author graces his readers with insightful essays and a critical appreciation of the literature, culture, and politics of African societies and their relationships with Western traditions in a twenty- first century world network.

While an avid participant in political discourse, Ce is fascinated with the art of triadic writing, evident in his three collections of literature and cultural critiques: Dissident Bards African Tyrants; Igbo Mind Music and Memory; and The Nigerian Kleptocracy, 1967-2023. In a similar vein he has a trilogy of poetry: An African Eclipse; Full Moon; and Millennial, including the trilogic adventure fictions: Children of Koloko, Gamji College, and The Visitor. Together with a highly innovative work, The Dreamer and The Oracle, these oevres put forward a higher vision of healing our collective consciousness with healthy infusions of ancestral memories in the oneness of humanity.

As part of the new generation of world literature, Chin Ce books have spanned genres, shaping the art and criticism of contemporary writing in Africa and around the world. Aside from also editing two volumes of African Short Stories by those titles, Chin Ce has further co- edited and prefaced over thirteen book publication series in contemporary African and world literary criticism.
