T. A. Thompson

T. A. Thompson is an educator, content creator and speaker. Although her educational background is reading literacy, her passion is financial literacy for kids. She has always been intrigued about money matters, how money flows, and investments. T. A. has fond memories of her grandmother keeping coins in her flowered handkerchief. She would often say. "ladies should always keep a little something saved." Her grandmother would also say, “It’s better to have when you need and when you need you have.”

Mrs. Thompson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and a Master’s in Education. T. A. Thompson is married to Cal and they have three financially intelligent adult daughters. She and her husband have owned and operated several businesses such as real estate and ground transportation. Throughout the years, she has shared her financial strategies and beliefs with her family, community, and urban schools. She created Financially Intelligent Girls Society (FIGS), to help parents empower their daughters to make wise money choices.
