Gen Del Raye

Gen Del Raye is a translator, writer, and former oceanographer. His debut story collection, "Boundless Deep, and Other Stories," won the Raz/Shumaker Prairie Schooner Book Prize in Fiction and is published by the University of Nebraska Press. His writing has appeared in the Gettysburg Review, Poetry Northwest, Best Small Fictions 2017, and Best New Poets 2019, and he is the recipient of the Jerome Hill Artist Fellowship and McKnight Artist Fellowship. He is half Japanese and was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan. Currently, he lives in Minneapolis, MN.
