Dr. Cynthia Nebel (@PsyDocCindy) earned her Ph.D. at Washington University in St. Louis and is the Director of Learning Services for the St. Louis University School of Medicine. She has previously served as Senior Lecturer in the Leadership and Learning in Organizations doctoral program at Vanderbilt University, Associate Professor of Psychology at Washburn University and Assistant Chair of Psychology at Lindenwood University. Dr. Nebel has broad interests in human learning and memory and applying the science of learning to educational contexts. She is also passionate about bridging the gap between research and practice in education and promotes dialogue between researchers and practitioners as an active collaborator of The Learning Scientists (www.learningscientists.org). In her spare time, she enjoys exploring St. Louis with her family, hiking, and playing with her goldendoodle.
