Mary Cagle

Mary Cagle is a writer and illustrator based in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She graduated from McNeese State University in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in writing and a minor in French. Although her first published work is a collection of poems, poetry assignments were always the ones that Mary hated the most in her writing classes. She prefers writing action filled fantasy stories and developing detailed lore for her book worlds. She is currently working on a few children's books while working at a daycare. She finds working with children is the perfect environment for her to stay inspired while also getting the free time after work to pursue her dreams of writing.
