Jordan Lopez

Jordan Lopez is a two time published author and autistic self advocate from Bristol, CT. As a child on the spectrum he was misunderstood by many of his peers and teachers but that never stopped him from chasing his goals. Growing up, reading and writing weren't great influences or interests, but while obtaining his associates degree in Graphic Design one of his essays was published in the college magazine.

From there on his passion for writing was ignited and couldn't be put out. He began to write poems and short stories. In 2019, he started his first novel Looked Down Upon: The Exiled Kin which was published in 2023. The sequel, Looked Down Upon: A Masked Wickedness was published in 2025. He has spoken and done book signings at the Bristol Public Library, Autism Speaks, Adelbooks, Worthwhile Reads and served as a member of the Bristol Diversity Council. In addition to writing and advocating, Jordan is a Special Olympics athlete, a member of the Social Chase, and an actor with the Favarh Players.
