Johnita Smith

As an American novelist, Johnita's passion lies in creating impactful and relatable stories that inspire readers to reimagine the world through the eyes of Black American characters, exploring fiction through the genres of fantasy, historical fiction, sci-fi, horror, romance, and paranormal romance.

Johnita is a graduate of Full Sail University with a BFA in Creative Writing, a member of Full Sail’s Creative Writing Club, and Full Sail Alumni Network. She has a full plate balancing her life as a passionate author publishing two to three novels a year, being a wife to her supportive husband, and mother to their four beautiful children.
