Her stories explore the beautiful, messy, and sometimes dangerous sides of love—while inviting readers to look beyond what is revealed on the surface and discover what lies hidden underneath.

Inspired by the complexities of family, the wounds we carry, and the limitless depths of her imagination, Johnita writes stories that are both provocative and relatable. With a passion for dark fantasy, contemporary romance, and stories rooted in powerful human emotion, Johnita’s goal is simple: to create unforgettable characters, tell compelling stories, and take readers somewhere they never expected to go.

Johnita earned her BFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University and is currently pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing at the university. She is also a proud member of Full Sail University’s Creative Writing Club and Alumni Network.

Behind the pages, Johnita’s greatest story is the life she is building beyond them. She balances her passion for writing with the joys and responsibilities of being a wife to her supportive husband of twenty years plus and a mother to their four beautiful children.
