Jeffrey A. Smith founded and leads Strategic Corporate Communications, providing communications counsel to businesses and other institutions regarding news media relations, employee communications, professional staffing and crisis preparation, management and communication. Formerly, he served as Vice President, North American Corporate Communications, at American Honda Motor Co., Inc. where, over the course of his 28-year career, he lead public affairs, corporate advertising, employee communications, and was the company's chief spokesperson. Prior to Honda he was a trade association executive, political communications consultant, and senior staff member in the United States Congress. Concurrently, he was a member of the part-time faculty at the George Washington University, teaching classes in non-fiction prose writing and argument. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University.
