Andrew Smith

Hello Everyone. Thanks for taking the time to check out my profile and read my bio. I have enjoyed writing for quite a few years now. My ambition for story telling started whilst working for a touring theatre company, performing for thousands of children in schools up and down the UK in many productions of classical children's literature and pantomimes. I moved to London in 2010 and started working as stage crew in the West End. During this time I was also writing scripts for stage, TV, and was even offered a writing job for a science fiction film. My Partner and I moved back to my hometown in 2020. I now take great pleasure in writing books for children. I have also recently edited a book for a charity and joined the writing team for a Pantomime production and script company.
